New York Strip Jalepeno Poppers


New York Strip Steak - 1" thick Well Marbled
Fresh Jalapeno Peppers
Pepper Jack Cheese
Worcestershire Sauce
Pork Rub


Cut New York Strip steaks into 1" cubes
Place steak cubes in plastic bag with 3 heaping tablespoons of Pork Rub and 1/4 cup of Worcestershire Sauce - Shuffle bag to coat all meat & Refrigerate 1 hour
Halve peppers long ways and de-seed
Halve peppers again cross ways
Cut cheese in proportion to size of peppers
Assemble Poppers as follows:
Place cheese into jalapeno slice
Add Meat cube on top of cheese
Wrap each popper with half strip of bacon and secure with toothpick

After poppers are assembled:
Preheat grill to med-high heat
Place poppers on grill
Grill 4 minutes per side
Remove from grill and let rest for 10 minutes
