If you want make sure your wedding guests enjoy their favors, make them something edible! There are plenty of ways to add a memorable and unique touch when choosing a food favor with colors, themes and foods that match you and your spouse’s personalities! Here are some examples to get your creative juices flowing:
The great thing about macarons are that they come in a wide variety of colors. No matter what the theme of your wedding is, you are sure to find a colored macaron to match. Just put them in a clear or colored box with your wedding monogram sticker. Another idea would be to have your monogram or a flower die-cut into your boxes.
This is a great idea for an outdoor wedding. Choose your favorite flavor, blueberry, grape, strawberry or a variety of flavors. Put the jam in small glass jars and tie a ribbon around it for that wedding touch.
This is a traditional edible favor choice but one that will make everyone feel like a kid again. You can have many different shapes, flavors and colors, either prepackaged or in a candy bar style. If you decide on the candy bar, use bags with your monogram printed on them and allow about a half-pound of candy for each guest.
This is a great favor if you’re having your wedding near water. Like candy and macarons, saltwater taffy comes in a large variety of colors to perfectly match your wedding décor. Put a few taffy pieces into cellophane bags with a ribbon and a thank you note or your monogram.
S’mores are another great outdoor wedding favor idea. Not only is it an inexpensive option, it’s a classic family favorite! Get a small assembly line started with your friends to add small graham crackers, a mini chocolate bar and 2 marshmallows to a small, clear box or bag.
