MultiClad Pro Stainless Cookware

Stamford, CT - March 2005 Food for Thought:

Consumers Key In on High Caliber Cookware
“Home chefs continue to demand top-grade performance when it comes to culinary equipment,” says Mary Rodgers, Director of Marketing Communications for Cuisinart. “Our MultiClad Pro Stainless line delivers this performance with improvements in product technology and superior construction.”

What to Look for When Purchasing Cookware:

Superior Construction:

Cuisinart’s MultiClad Pro Stainless Cookware is engineered for the utmost in durability and heat distribution. This cookware features triple-ply construction that maximizes the cooking benefits of its construction materials. The MultiClad Pro Stainless line has an attractive brushed stainless exterior, a pure aluminum core and a satin finish stainless interior. The aluminum core not only extends along the bottom of the cookware, but along the side walls as well, resulting in superior heat retention and virtually eliminating hot spots. An added benefit of the conductive aluminum core is its quick response to changes in temperature, allowing the consumer maximum control when cooking.

The Cuisinart MultiClad Pro Stainless collection is oven safe to 550 degrees and can conveniently go from the stovetop to the oven, or under the broiler. Whether sautéing chicken Marsala or simmering a pan of seafood paella, the MultiClad Pro Stainless collection delivers consistent results. The cookware is also freezer safe for easy storage.

The attractive brushed stainless exterior appeals to many consumers who may already have major appliances in the same finish. In addition to their visual appeal, the cookware touts professional performance.

One of the distinctive features of Cuisinart’s collection is the company’s signature Cool-Grip™ handles. The handles are constructed of cast stainless steel and are riveted for extra strength and durability. In addition, the riveted construction delivers extra control when lifting and pouring.

Other features:

The MultiClad Pro Stainless line also features tight-fitting polished stainless steel lids that seal in flavor and nutrients for superior results. All rims are tapered for drip-free pouring.

The MultiClad Pro Stainless line is dishwasher safe, and is available in seven- and twelve-piece sets, as well as open stock pieces. Both sets include a 1-1/2 quart saucepan with cover, an 8-quart stockpot with cover, and a 10-inch open skillet, among other items.
