Conair, Under Its Cuisinart Division, and Weight Watchers® Announce

Cookware and Bakeware Licensing Agreement

Cuisinart will Launch Weight Watchers®-branded line in early 2011

Stamford, CT, August 9, 2010 – Conair Corporation and Weight Watchers International, Inc. announced today that they have entered into a licensing and distribution agreement that will enable Conair, under its Cuisinart Cookware division, to develop, design, market and sell a line of non-electric cookware and bakeware throughout the United States and Canada under the Weight Watchers brand.  Conair Corporation has executed the agreement via the Cuisinart division due to its longstanding presence and expertise in the culinary arena and housewares industry.  The cookware and bakeware line is currently slated for retail availability in early 2011.

“Following the successful synergy of Conair and Weight Watchers’ bath scale partnership, we are thrilled to be collaborating once again, this time through the expertise of the company’s culinary division of Cuisinart,” said Ron Diamond, President of Conair Corporation.   “The amalgamation of the two is a significant growth opportunity for both companies.”

“We are very eager and excited to build upon our successful bathroom scale partnership with Conair to now include a line of branded cookware and bakeware with their Cuisinart division.  The collaboration of our two brands lays the groundwork for an innovative line of branded cookware that is dedicated to help make the preparation of healthier meals easier and more convenient,” said Hugh Dever, Director of Licensing at Weight Watchers International.

Under the terms of the agreement, Cuisinart will develop a full line of non-electric cookware and bakeware designed to further the healthy living axioms exemplified by Weight Watchers.

Other terms and conditions of the licensing agreement were not disclosed.
