Discontinued Charcoal Chimney

If you don’t use a charcoal chimney to light charcoal, it’s time to start. Charcoal chimneys allow you to safely and conveniently light charcoal for a grill or smoker. Just crumple up some old newspaper and stick it in the space below the metal divider in the charcoal chimney and place the chimney on a charcoal grate on a grill or smoker. Then, load the area above the metal divider with your desired amount of charcoal. Use a lighter to light the newspaper through the large vent holes. Wait 10-20 minutes (depending on the amount of charcoal) until most of the briquettes are partially covered in white ash and then your charcoal is ready to go!
