Cinco de Mayo Fiesta

It’s time to throw the ultimate fiesta! Cinco de Mayo is approaching and it’s on a Fri(YAY) this year! Cuisinart has the perfect menu for you and your guests. So, let’s get started:

Décor and Games:

Before we dive into the food, let’s talk about party decorations! Create a fiesta feel by hanging string lights all around the party venue. Place red, orange, and green colored balloons all over as well. You can even set up a table and place sombreros, maracas, and colorful necklaces for your guests to wear!

Don’t forget to set up fun games for everyone to enjoy! Fill a piñata with surprises such as chocolate or candy. Another great idea would be to have a sombrero toss. Simply place three sombreros on the ground and see how beanie bags can be tossed in. Whoever gets the most wins a prize!

Drinks, Food, and Dessert… Oh My!

Now it’s time to move onto our favorite part, food! Our Cinco de Mayo menu is loaded with bold flavors and decadent desserts:

Start off the night with a classic Citrus Margarita!  Lime juice, orange juice, and mandarin syrup make this drink extra sweet. You can also whip up a batch of Mexican Hot Chocolate. Simply combine cinnamon, bittersweet chocolate, and vanilla for the ultimate treat!

Our super cheesy and delicious appetizers will be hard to resist. Start by making a bowl (or two) of our  Super Queso Dip. With sausage, and cheese, and tomatoes, this dip will be gone in 1,2,3! If that isn’t enough, our Ultimate Nachos will really get the fiesta started and is so simple to make; just combine cheese, beans, chilies, and tortilla chips!

For dinner, have a taco or burrito bar and allow guests to build their own! Fill a table with tortillas, chicken or beef, lettuce, tomatoes, cheese, sour cream, or any of your favorite toppings. Other tasty options you can serve are quesadillas and fajitas…yum!

Last and certainly not least, it’s not a party without dessert! You’ll love this recipe for Cheesecake Flan, it’s dangerously delicious! Watch out because our Mexican Hot Chocolate Cupcakes pack a punch! These chocolate Dulce de Luche filled cupcakes are topped with spicy whipped cream frosting! Also, you won’t be able to pass up our Creamy Rice Pudding with coconut milk, cinnamon, and raisins!

We hope your fiesta is the best one yet! Adios, amigos and enjoy your day filled with family and friends!
