Saint Patrick's Day Party

It's time to celebrate because it's almost St. Patrick's Day! From the decor to the food, this is your guide to throwing the ultimate bash! Feel the luck of the Irish with these fun ideas...

Decor:
On St. Patrick's Day, it’s all about the color green!   So, incorporating it into your decor is a must. You can add touches of green simply with balloons or colored plates and cups. You can also make beautiful green centerpieces with carnations or even create a pot of gold with chocolate coins. (Yes, you can eat them too!) For some extra festive flare, add some leprechaun hats and green necklace beads on the table to help guests get into the Irish spirit!

Feel inspired by Ireland's symbol, the Shamrock. Here's a creative idea: create St. Patrick's Day shamrock table name cards! Simply cut out shamrock shaped pieces of paper, outline them with green glitter and write your guests names on them. Next, using a durable green construction paper, you can also make shamrock coasters for your guests to place their drinks on.

Food and Drinks:
What's a party without drinks and food? The Irish are known for their love of potatoes, but what else can you cook up to celebrate? Take a look at these Irish inspired eats:

Corned Beef and Vegetables
Skillet Roasted Potatoes
Irish American Soda Bread
Beef Stew

Let's not forget about the drinks! These beverages are perfect for people of all ages:

Creamy Irish Coffee

Mint Chocolate Chip Ice Cream Shake

Citrus Mint Iced Tea

Add a little fun to your bash with Irish inspired games! How lucky are you on St. Patrick's Day?  Let's find out!

Raffle Ticket:
As your guests arrive, give out green raffle tickets! At the end of the night, call out two lucky winners who will receive a prize! Prizes can be anything from candy to gift cards.

Find the Gold Coins and Four Leaf Clover:
This is a great game for children to play, adults will surely enjoy it too! Place golden coins around the party venue. Whoever finds the most coins by the end of the night wins a prize! You can also let guests find the four-leaf clover amidst all the three leave clovers. May luck be on your side!

Best Outfit:
Do you have the best St. Patrick's Day outfit? The person who is wearing the most green or has the best Irish inspired outfit wins a prize.

Golden coin toss:
Lastly, you can set up an area where guests can toss gold coins into a pot. This is a great way to get the party started. You can even play this game in teams. How many coins will you toss into the pot of gold?

St. Patrick's Day is all about enjoying time with friends and family. Celebrate the luck of the Irish with a great meal and fun games. Cheers to finding the pot of gold at the end of the rainbow!
