Foods that are high in vitamins are very important to incorporate into your baby’s diet. Fruits are the perfect way to give your baby these essential nutrients to keep him/her healthy. But what fruits are the best for your baby? Below is a list of fruits that will give you peace of mind because they are naturally beneficial and will satisfy your baby.

Apple and Pears

These fruits are adult favorites too! Apples are a great way for your baby to get their daily dose of vitamin C, iron, and fiber and help keep their immune system strong! We suggest feeding your baby applesauce starting at 4 months old. Trust us, your baby will love this delicious fruit!

Pears are also the perfect fruity snack. If you are worried about possible allergies that your baby might have, you don't have to worry with pears because they are the least allergic fruit! Pears are also super easy on the stomach. When your baby is experiencing reflux, pears will work their magic and settle your baby's tummy!

Bananas are full of nutrients! Packed with potassium and filled with carbohydrates, bananas are the ultimate source of energy! Bananas also contain fiber, which helps your baby maintain a regular digestive tract and helps with constipation. For younger babies, we suggest mashing the banana up so it is easier for them to consume. For babies that are older, around 1 years old, bananas are the perfect finger food! Just simply chop up the fruit into small bite size pieces and there you have both a fun and delicious snack for your baby! Bananas are a superfood for sure!

Strawberries and Blueberries

These berries are just wonderful! Strawberries, with their signature red color, should be introduced to your baby at the age of 1. They are full of vitamin C (helps fight colds and provides energy) and are best when puréed or cut into small pieces, to avoid choking. Blueberries are also a great fruit to give your baby. They are loaded with antioxidants and vitamins A and C. Blueberries should be given to your baby around 8 months old and their minerals help with your baby’s eyesight, brain, and digestion. Yay for berries!

Peaches and Apricots

Last but not least, peaches and apricots are great to feed your baby. Peaches are high in fiber, vitamin C, and vitamin A. (Vitamin A supports eyes, white blood cells and healthy skin). Peaches are super easy for your baby to digest. Chunky peach purées are perfect for babies around 10 months of age. Apricots are also rich in vitamin A, iron and potassium! You can give your baby apricots around 6 months. They will love their sweet taste and soft texture!
