Sissy's Lasagna


1 1/2 lbs ground beef
2 onions
1 green pepper
1 can tomato paste
1/2 cup water
3 cans tomato sauce
Salt, pepper
1/2 tsp oregano
1/4 tsp crushed red pepper
1 1/2 lbs cottage cheese
1 pkg. shredded cheddar cheese
2 lbs elbow macaroni


Brown in pan, ground beef, onions, green pepper, oregano, crushed red pepper, salt, and pepper. Pour in sauce, paste, and water. Add this to the cooked elbows, add the cottage cheese and mix together. Put into a baking pan and sprinkle shredded cheddar over the top. Bake in oven at 350 for 30 minutes. Serve Hot.
