A baby’s diet should be full of wholesome fruits and veggies, but their underdeveloped tummies can’t properly digest various fibers, sugars, and textures in their raw forms. Make sure to cook ingredients until your baby is around 8 months. Baking and steaming are the best ways to cook food while maintaining the nutritious value and making them easy for your baby to eat. But don’t think baking is just for vegetables—fruits are equally delicious when baked! The baking process softens the fruit and brings out the natural sweetness. Fruits such as peaches, pears, and apples are delicious treats for your baby and the rest of the family!

BAKED PEACHES, NECTARINES and PLUMS
- First, preheat the oven to 400(F)
- In the meantime, halve the fruit (you can mix it up between peaches, pears, nectarines and plums)
- Do not peel, but you can opt to remove the pits
- Add 1-2 inches of water to a baking pan
- Place fruit "face down" in the baking pan and bake at 400F for approximately 40 minutes or until skin puckers. (If you use this method for pears, bake for only 20 minutes or until skin puckers)
- Once the fruit is finished baking, slip off the skin (it will be easy to do now) and enjoy the warm dessert!
