Cuisinart Kicks off Fourth Quarter with Largest Web Marketing Campaign to Date
National print and TV advertising will continue to focus on Cuisinart’s signature products, including the Fully Automatic Burr Grind & Brew™ coffeemaker, the Griddler® indoor grill and Premier Series Food Processors. The national consumer print campaign will include placements in epicurean and lifestyle magazines such as Gourmet, Bride’s, Cooking Light, Shape, InStyle and Food and Wine, among other leading publications. The TV campaign will include nationally syndicated programming during prime access and national prime time placement on cable, and all TV advertising will run from mid-November through the end of December. In addition, Cuisinart launched its Griddler® infomercial in September which will also be distributed nationally throughout the balance of the year.
Cuisinart’s web activities continue to build on the company’s successful online marketing campaigns over the past several years. Most notably, the company has just launched an online widget that consumers can download directly onto any Mac or Windows-based computer desktop for easy and ready access to Cuisinart’s podcasts, recipe box and videos. This widget and the various applications it accesses can then be emailed to friends and shared.
“With Cuisinart’s new widget, consumers can print out recipes, view podcasts and videos directly and even email them to a friend or to their mobile device,” says Mary Rodgers, Director of Marketing Communications for Cuisinart. “This idea resulted from a need for quick access to recipes and ingredients while I was in the grocery store. I always wanted to send this information to my Blackberry so that I wouldn’t need an actual printed copy of a recipe.”
