Food for Thought:
Cuisinart Brings Home Brewing to the Next Level
“Coffee is a morning staple in a significant number of households across the country, and consumers are constantly seeking innovation and customization in the coffeemaker category,” says Mary Rodgers, Director of Marketing Communications for Cuisinart. “To continue to address this demand, Cuisinart is introducing three coffeemakers that possess distinctive features that will bring a new dimension of convenience and versatility to home brewing.”
TheCoffee Plus™ 12-Cup Programmable Coffeemaker with Hot Water System (model no. CHW-12), the Extreme Brew™ 10-Cup Thermal Programmable Coffeemaker (model no. DCC-2750) and the Extreme Brew™ 12-Cup Programmable Coffeemaker (model no. DCC-2650) are designed to provide a unique and satisfying home brewing experience for every kind of coffee drinker.
All three Cuisinart coffeemakers are fully automatic with 24-hour programmability to permit consumers to enjoy a delicious cup of coffee at any time. The new models are designed with features such as adjustable auto shutoff, Brew Pause® technology and Adjustable Temperature Control, which offers a heater plate with High, Medium and Low settings to keep coffee at the preferred temperature. Additionally, the Extreme Brew™ Coffeemakers employ re-engineered brewing technology to deliver coffee up to 25% faster. The Coffee Plus™ unit is equipped with a completely separate and independent 56-oz. water reservoir and a separate heating system to allow for individual or simultaneous dispensation of coffee and hot water.
What to Look for When Purchasing a Coffeemaker:
Cuisinart’s new coffeemakers have various other features, including a 1- to 4-cup setting that allows consumers to brew smaller amounts of coffee to the same exacting standards that apply to a full pot. Other distinguishing features between the two product lines exist as well.
The Coffee Plus™ coffeemaker not only makes a delicious cup of coffee, but is perfect for preparing instant soup, hot cocoa, tea and more with just the press of a lever. Additionally, easy-to-use indicator lights alert consumers as to when water is hot and ready to dispense, and when it’s time to refill the reservoir. Both the 10-Cup Thermal and the 12-Cup Extreme Brew™ coffeemakers include Brew Strength Control (allowing users to enjoy a regular or bold cup) and a 60-Second Reset function that recalls settings and position in the brewing process in case of loss of power.
Taste is the number one priority when it comes to coffee, and Cuisinart’s newest coffeemakers are designed to allow consumers to brew the perfect cup of great-tasting coffee every time. To that end, all three units have a gold-tone commercial-style permanent filter, as well as a charcoal water filter that removes chlorine’s taste and odor from tap water for improved flavor.
Each of Cuisinart’s new coffeemakers features contemporary controls and displays that unite form and function on the countertop, while a combination of brushed stainless steel and black accents make all three units an attractive addition to any kitchen. The coffeemakers are designed with intuitive, easy-to-use controls and features a blue, backlight LCD display with digital clock that provides all pertinent brewing information at a glance.
