Red Raspberry Pie
This delicious berry pie is easy to make in minutes using Cuisinart's Pro Food Prep Center.
Ingredients:
1.5c white flour
1.c ww flour or multigrain flour
10T cold butter sliced
.5 c cold water
1 T Apple Cider Vinegar
1/4 tsp salt
4 c frozen red raspberries
1/4 c tapioca flour
1 c sugar
Instructions:
Preheat oven to 375°F. Fit Cuisinart Food Prep bowl with the metal blade, add flours, salt then add butter - pulse until crumbly. Combine water & vinegar - pour slowly into flour mix while pulsing. When mixture is gathering but still crumbly - stop. Remove knife and then dough. Gather dough together on floured work surface, cut into two equal pieces, make 6" disc out of one half - roll out and fit into 9" pie pan. In large bowl, mix berries, sugar and tapioca - pour into crust. Roll out second half of dough, crimp edges to seal the top and bottom layers together, pierce top 5-6 times, sprinkle with sugar. Bake 1 hour.
