Country Style Ribs
"
BBQ Country Style Pork Ribs, dry rubbed and baked in oven. Grilling later or broiling to thicken BBQ sauce."
Ingredients
2 lbs. country style pork ribs
1/2 cup packed brown sugar
1 Tbsp. Chili Powder
2 tsp Garlic Powder
2 tsp. Onion Powder
1 tsp Old Bay seasoning
2 tsp. Hungarian paprika
1 1/2 tbsp. salt (or to taste)
Favorite BBQ Sauce
Instructions
In small bowl combine all ingredients (except BBQ Sauce)mixing well.
Rub well into all sides of the ribs.
Place in a baking dish (I line mine with foil and spray with olive oil spray).
Lay the ribs 1" apart. Do not add anything. Cover well with foil and bake in preheated oven 325 deg. for 1 hr.
Remove. Brush with favorite BBQ sauce. It can then be placed on the grill for about 3-5 minutes on either side for the sauce to adhere well to the ribs or under the broiler being careful they do not burn.
