1 (5oz.) jar Kraft process cheese spread
1/2 cup softened butter
1/2 tsp seasoned salt
1/2 tsp garlic powder
1 1/2 Tbsp mayonnaise
2 Tbsp minced green onion
1 Tbsp finely diced celery
pepper to taste
1 (5-6 oz.) can of cooked chicken - drained
6 English muffins - split
Mix all of the ingredients (EXCEPT the English muffins) and spread evenly on the cut sides of the muffins. Place on a cookie sheet and broil until hot and bubbly. Cut the muffins into 6ths and serve hot.
Or: make ahead, spread the mixture on the cut side of the English muffins; cut each muffin half into sixths. Place the triangles on a cookie sheet and freeze for about 30 minutes. Package the cold Hot Chix in plastic bags. To serve, place as many of the frozen Hot Chix triangles as you will need on a cookie sheet and bake at 400°F for 10 minutes or until hot and bubbly.
