Quick and Spicy Tomato Soup


3 Tbsp olive oil
2 carrots, peeled and chopped
1 sm onion, chopped8
1 clove garlic, minced
1 (26 oz) jar marinara sauce
2 14 oz cans chicken broth
1 15 oz can cannelloni beans, drained and rinsed
1/2 tsp red pepper flakes
1/2 cup pastina pasta or the little loops
1/2 tsp salt
1/2 tsp pepper


warm olive oil in large soup pot over med high heat.
-add carrots, onion, garlic and sauté until soft, about 2 min
-add marinara, chicken broth, beans, pepper flakes, pasta, salt/pepper
-simmer for 10 min
