Peach Cobbler
Ingredients
2 Prepared Deep Dish Crusts
1 large can Peaches
1 1/2 - 2 tsp Cinnamon
1/2 tsp Nutmeg
3/4 cup Sugar
1/2 stick Butter
1 tsp Vanilla
Pinch of salt
Instructions
Preheat oven to 400 and put pie crusts aside. In a medium saucepan combine all of the other ingredients and heat over medium heat to a boil. If you want the sauce a little thicker, you can add 1 tbsp flour to 1/4 cup of water and mix well and add into this. Remove from heat. Pour into one of the crust. Take a butter knife and slice the other crust into strips and put this over your peaches in the other crust; first lining horizontally and then vertically, but being sure to leave "venting" spaces. Place in oven until lightly golden brown. Serve with ice cream or whipped cream.
