Eldorado Beef Casserole

Ingredients
2 lb. ground beef
1/2 tsp. garlic powder
1/2 tsp. salt
1 large can tomato sauce
1/2 lb. grated jack cheese
10 oz. Doritos (crushed)
1 cup sour cream
1 1/2 cup cottage cheese
1 (4 oz) green chilies (mild & chopped)
1 cup sliced dark olives
1/2 cup chopped onion
Instructions
Cook meat with onion, salt and garlic powder until done. Add tomato sauce and olives, simmer 15 minutes. In another bowl, combine sour cream, cottage cheese and chilies. In a 3 qt. Casserole dish, start with the crushed Doritos and layer meat, cheese mixture, grated cheese. Repeat and end with sprinkling crushed chips on top. Cover loosely with foil and bake at 350° for 35 minutes. Freezes very well.
