Bar-B-Q Rub for MeatsUser Submitted Recipe
(may be used for smoking meats also)
1 box (round can) regular bread crumbs
1 cup Paprika
1/4 cup chili powder
1 tablespoon onion powder
1 teaspoon basil (ground)
1 tablespoon celery flakes (dried)
1 tablespoon parsley flakes (dried)
1 teaspoon garlic (to taste)
1 tablespoon salt
1/2 tablespoon black pepper
1/2 teaspoon powdered dry mustard (optional)
Thoroughly mix all ingredients and store in a zip closing plastic quart size bag.
Use: coat meat (any cut) with the mix, cook as usual (baked, roasted, or smoked). Serve hot with side dishes.
