Lentil soup

Great for Winter


7 baby carrots

2 mid size onions

2 cups of red lentils

1 teaspoon parsley

1/2 teaspoon garlic powder

1 mid size potato

3 cups of water

1 tablespoon tomato paste

Salt for seasoning


Wash the lentils, peel the potatoes and carrots, dissolve the tomato paste in water, put everything in the pot, and cook until everything is tender (about 30 min). Add a little bit water and use a Cuisinart hand blender to blend all the ingredients in the same pot. Squeeze lemon and add red pepper if you want for extra taste. Bon Appetit.
