Bourbon Onion Soup

Serve over slices of bread and top with shredded cheese."
Ingredients
5 lb. Yellow Onions
1/2 Fifth Bourbon (generic)
1/4 lb Butter
2 Tbs. granulated garlic
30 or so peppercorns
3 15 oz cans beef broth
2 15 oz cans chicken broth
3-4 Tbs Worcestershire
1 tsp red pepper flakes
Shredded Italian mixed cheeses
1- French Baguette
Instructions
Slice onions (Using your Cuisinart Banjo) very thin and cook with butter and garlic over relatively high heat, without carmelizing. Once the onions have cooked down, add 1/2 bottle of bourbon. Continue cooking while addding beef and chicken broth, red pepper flakes, peppercorns, and worstershire. Let cook over low to medium heat for 2-3 hours.
