Golden carrot soupUser Submitted Recipe
1/2 cup butter
2 cups thinly sliced carrots
1/4 cup long rained rice
1/2 tsp salt
1/2 cup chopped onions 3 chicken bouillon cubes
3 cups boiling water
2 cups milk
Saute onions in butter add carrots and toss until coated with butter. Add bouillon cubes, water and rice. Cover and simmer until carrots are cooked and rice is tender. Add to blender 1/3 at a time. Blend and return to pot and add milk.
