This family chili has a slight kick that won't offend the non-spice eaters like me but will please the tough ladies and gents in your family. Packed with protein and veggies this is sure to be a hit for the favorite members of your life!
Chunky Veggie and Turkey Chili
INGREDIENTS
1.5 lbs lean turkey
1 sm onion
1 can chicken broth
1 can tom sauce (8 oz)
1 can petite diced tom (8 oz)
1 can black beans (rinsed)
Canned green chili
1 small can tomato paste
Garlic powder
Chili powder
Black pepper
Sea Salt
Instructions
Chop onion
Place 1 tblsp canola or olive oil w onion & turkey
Brown while stirring
Sprinkle w s&p
Pour in chicken broth & black beans, stir & cook for 5 min
Pour in tomato sauce, stir & add one overflowing tblsp chili, 2 teasp garlic powder, & salt
Stir & cook 5 min
Pour in petite diced tom and green chilis incl liquid
Thicken to your liking with tomato paste
Simmer for 1 hour
