INGREDIENTS
20 oz. Lean Ground Turkey
32 oz. Skinless Chicken Breast (cubed)
(2) 16 oz. Cans Kidney Beans
(2) 15 oz. Cans Garbanzo Beans
(2) 16 oz. Cans Black Beans
28 oz. Can Diced Tomatoes
12 oz. Can Tomato Paste
(2) 15 oz. Cans Tomato Sauce
1/2 cup Sliced Pickled Jalapenos
1/2 cup Hot Hungarian Yellow Chilies
15 Whole Cayenne Chilies (stems removed)
1 Diced Green Bell Pepper
1 Diced Red Bell Pepper
1 Medium Yellow Onion, Sautéed and diced
1 Tbsp. Ground Cumin (If you use Cumin seed and grind them yourself, use 3 Tbsp)
1/2 tsp. White Pepper
1/2 tsp. Black Pepper
1/2 tsp. Red Pepper
2 Tbsp. Chili Powder
1 Tbsp. Red Pepper Flakes
Instructions
Put all ingredients into a large Dutch Oven, except for the turkey, chicken and chili powder. Brown the ground turkey in a frying pan, and then add to pot. Lightly dust the cubed chicken breast with chili powder then brown in a cast iron frying pan on a medium heat. Don’t cook the chicken all the way through, only brown it. Then add the chicken to the pot. Add the remainder of the chili powder to the pot. Allow to simmer on low heat for about an hour. Adjust to your own taste by adding more pepper, if it not spicy enough. Or by adding a little sugar if it is too spicy.
