Broccoli soup


2-10oz. pkg. frozen broccoli
1/4 cup chopped onion
2 cups chicken broth
2 Tbsp. butter
1 1/2 tsp. salt
dash pepper
2 cups half and half


In medium pan, combine onion,chicken broth and broccoli. Bring to boil, simmer for 10 minutes or until broccoli is tender. Puree in blender until smooth. Melt butter in pan, ass flour,salt and pepper. Slowly stir in half and half. Add broccoli puree and cook, stirring constantly until it bubbles.
