A Sweet Stew for those of us that can't enjoy a traditional tomato based stew.
Sweet Beef & Red Potato Stew
INGREDIENTS
2 Cans Chunked Beef (27 oz) rinse off one can
1- 14 to 16 oz can Rold Gold diced Tomatoes
1/2 Large Red Onion sliced
3 long Celery Stalks sliced
5 medium carrots sliced
20 Small Red Potatoes (whole)
1/2 cup Brown Sugar
2 tbls of JoJo Potato Seasoning
7 Cups Water
1/2 tsp table salt
Instructions
Add Sliced onions, salt, & whole potatoes to 7 cups water. Boil rapidly uncovered for 5 minutes.
Add canned beef (rinse one before adding). Boil additional 10 minutes.
Add Brown sugar & JoJo Potato Seasoning. Stir constantly 2 minutes.
Add sliced Carrots & Celery boil additional 5-10 minutes or until potatoes are fully cooked.
