Vegetable Soup

Wonderful homemade soup ,great for a cool autumn day. Just add crusty bread on the side."

Ingredients

1 Chuck Steak ,cut up
3 Quarts Water
1 Diced Onion
1 celery Stalk, and Leaves,Sliced
2 Carrots, Sliced
Pinch Parsley
1/2 Cup Barley
1 Can Butter Beans
1 Sweet Potato,Large Diced
1 Potato, Large Diced
1 Can Tomato Soup
1/4 Head Cabbage, Shredded
1 Pound Frozen Vegetables
1/4 Teaspoon Dried Italian Herbs


Instructions

Place meat in soup pot with water ,while you prepare other ingredients.Add tomato soup and whisk. Add all other ingredients,bring just to a boil,turn down to simmer . Add more water as needed. Soup is done when veggies are tender,.
