Chile con Carne

This is a great soup recipe. It can be doubled for a larger crowd. This recipe is quick and easy the coffee brings out the flavor in the spices."

Ingredients

1 lb ground beef
1 cup chopped bell pepper
1 cup chopped onion
1 can tomatoes (12 oz)
1 can tomato sauce (8 oz.)
2 tsp. chili powder
1/2 tsp. cumin
1 tsp. salt
1/8 tsp. paprika
1 can kidney beans (drained)
1/2 cup of coffee


Instructions

Cook ground beef, onion and bell peppers in a large skillet until tender. The ground beef should not have any pink in it. Drain the fat off of this mixture. Stir in the remaining ingredients. Also tomato,s should be diced up. Heat to boiling. reduce the heat and cover with a lid. Simmer for 45 minutes. Eat and enjoy.
