Grilled Avocado with Salsa FrescaUser Submitted Recipe
So simple and so delicious!
2 large, semi-ripe avocados (not too soft!)
2 Tbsp fresh lime juice
1 Tbsp olive oil
salt & pepper
sour cream (optional)
Cut avocados in half and remove seeds - do not remove skin! Drizzle with lime juice and brush with olive oil. Place, cut side down, over hot coals (gas grill works great too!) for 2-4 minutes depending on size of avocado. Remove from grill, season with salt/pepper t taste. Fill seed cavity with your favorite fresh (or jarred) salsa, add a dollop of sour cream and enjoy!
