German Hot Potato SaladUser Submitted Recipe
4 med potatoes
2 slices bacon
1 chopped onion
1 tbsp flour
½ c water
¼ c cider vinegar
2 tbsp sugar
½ tsp salt
¼ tsp green pepper
2 tbsp chopped fresh parsley
Brown bacon and drain.
Add onion to drippings and cook under medium heat. Sprinkle flour and cook one minute, stirring constantly.
Add water and vinegar, stir until mixture comes to boil and thickens. Site in sugar, salt and pepper. Remove from heat and keep warm.
Crumble bacon. Peel and slice potatoes while warm. Mix with hot onion mixture and toss with parsley.
