Lin's all natural bbq sauce

This sauce may seem a bit spicy before use, but it is not as spicy on the meat when cooked. Extra chili powder can be added if you prefer more heat! Excellent on chicken, or ribs."


1 cup canned tomato sauce
1/4 cup water
2 T butter
1/4 cup lemon juice
3 T chopped onion
2 T honey (or if diabetic use 2 packets of artificial sweetener)
2 shakes worcestershire sauce
1 1/2 t salt
pinch of pepper
1 1/2 t paprika
1/2 t chili powder
2 t garlic powder
1/2 t ground cinnamon
1/2 t ground allspice
1/4 ground cloves (optional)


Combine all ingredients in your cuisinart blender. Pour into saucepan and stir over medium heat until warm.
