Raspberry-Orange Sauce

The raspberry and orange flavors are a winning combination. Dress up your crêpes or pancakes in the morning with a drizzle of this simple sauce. "


2 tablespoons orange juice
2 tablespoons water
8 cups fresh or frozen (thawed) raspberries
6 tablespoons plus 1 teaspoon granulated sugar
1 teaspoon orange zest
¼ teaspoon table salt


Put all ingredients, in the order listed, into the jar of your Cuisinart® PowerEdge® 1000 Watt Blender. Run on High for 1½ minutes. Strain through a fine mesh strainer.
