Sweet and Bold Balsamic Sauce
User Submitted Recipe
“
This sauce wonderfully compliments many grilled dishes, especially pork loin or a similar cut of meat."
Ingredients
1 cup Balsamic Vinegar (personally, I use Colativa aged sweet Balsamic)
1/4 cup sugar
2 tbs. ground cinnamon
1/2 tsp. ground ginger
1/4 tsp ground black pepper
Instructions
Pour vinegar into a small pot and turn to medium-high heat. Add sugar and cook until sugar dissolves, stirring frequently. Turn heat to medium-low and allow the sauce to reduce until it is about half of its original volume. Stir in the spices and allow to simmer for another 60 seconds. Serve or refrigerate in an airtight container for up to 1 week.
