Spicy Spaghetti Sauce and Meatballs

Spicy spaghetti sauce with fire roasted tomatos and red pepper. Turkey meatballs with fennel, parmesian cheese and spices."


1 4lb jar of Ragu traditional style sauce
1 22ounce jar of fire roasted tomatos
1 12 ounce can of chopped tomatos
1/4 cup of olive oil
1 12 ounce can of tomato paste
1/2 to 1 tablespoon of red pepper flakes
1 tablespoon of black pepper

19.2 ounce package of ground turkey
.6 packet of Good Seasonings zesty italian dressing and recipe mix
1/2 tablespoon garlic powder
1/2 tablespoon fennel seed
1/2 tablespoon black pepper
1/3 cup bread crumbs
1/4 cup asiago or parmesian cheese
1 small can tomato sauce


Put all sauce ingredients in large stockpot that has been sprayed with Pam olive oil. Mix all igredients for meatballs and roll into small (1/8 cup) balls. Drop into sauce and push into sauce gently until they are covered. Cook on low to medium until sauce comes to a boil. Simmer for 5 hours. Sprinkle with additional parmesian or asiago cheese. Sauce can be cooked in slow cooker for 8 hours on low.
