Squid and pasta

This is a recipe I developed after buying squid and not knowing what to do with it. My family loved it."


1 - 2 Pounds of squid cut to bite size pieces.
1 stick butter
2 whole garlic cloves minced
4 scallions sliced
1/4 cup cooking sherry
salt and pepper to taste
1 pound of pasta of your choice.


Boil about 1 pound of pasta of your choice until tender.

Saute onions and garlic in 2 tablespoons of butter until tender.
add remaining butter and squid. Cook over medium heat for approximately 4 - 6 minutes or until they are cooked to your liking.

Pour sauce over pasta and toss.

Serve with a side salad of your choice.
