Bourbon LatteUser Submitted Recipe
4 cups brewed espresso
1/2 cup half & half
2 tsp. pure vanilla
1 cup chilled heavy cream
2 tbsp. Kentucky bourbon
pinch of sea salt
2 tsp. confectioners sugar
freshly ground nutmeg
As coffee is brewing, heat half & half over medium heat until slightly bubbly.
Remove from heat.
Stir in 1 tsp. vanilla.
In a large bowl, whip heavy cream with sugar, bourbon, 1 tsp. vanilla and a pinch of salt until soft peak stage.
Pour coffee in mugs.
Add some of half & half to each and top each with bourbon cream.
Grate fresh nutmeg over each.
