English Toffee Bars

Ingredients

1 Cup Butter
1 Cup sugar
1 Egg
2 Cups Flour
1 t cinnamon
1 Cup chopped nuts (I use pecans)
1-12 Oz. pkg Chocolate chips (melted)


Instructions

Cream butter, gradually add sugar & beat till light & fluffy. Beat in egg. Sift flour & cinnamon, add to creamed mixture. Press evenly into greased jelly roll pan (11"x17"). Bake 1 hour @ 275 degree oven.

Remove from oven & pour on melted chips. Sprinkle w/chopped nuts & slice while warm
