Chocolate Spice Ball Cookies


Traditional Italian Christmas and Wedding Cookie

Ingredients

Cookie Ingredients:
4 C Flour
1 Cup Cocoa
1/2 T Salt
4 T Baking Powder
1 T Cinnamon
1/2 T All Spice
1 1/2 C Brown Sugar
1 C Chopped Walnuts
1/2 Orange Rind
3/4 C Milk
1/2 C Water
2 T Vanilla

Icing Ingredients:
1/2 Bag Of Powdered Sugar
1/2 Orange Rind
1 T Vanilla
1/4 T Oil
Water(To Make A Thick, But Runny Icing)

Chocolate Drizzle Prep:
6 oz Chocolate Chips
2 T Crisco


Instructions

Cookie Prep:
Pre-Heat: 350* Bake: 10 To 12 Min. Greased Sheet
Sift Together:
4 C Flour
1 Cup Cocoa
1/2 T Salt
4 T Baking Powder
1 T Cinnamon
1/2 T All Spice
Mix In: 1 1/2 C Brown Sugar
1 C Chopped Walnuts
1/2 Orange Rind
Cut In:
3/4 C Milk
1/2 C Water
2 T Vanilla
Bake 10-12 Minutes. Cool Completely

Icing Prep:
Mix Together Till Smooth:
1/2 Bag Of Powdered Sugar
1/2 Orange Rind 1 T Vanilla
1/4 T Oil Water( To Make A Thick, But Runny Icing)
Coat entire cookie, dipping and rest to dry on sheets of wax paper.
Dry completely before adding drizzle topping.

Chocolate Drizzle Prep:
(Melt In Micro)
6oz Chocolate Chips
2 T Crisco
Stir till smooth
Drizzle ziz-zag lines on top of dry icing of each cookie. Dry complete before plating. Place finished cookies in papers and plate on a doily tray.
