Scalloped Corn
User Submitted RecipeIngredients
2 cans creamed corn
1 can white or yellow corn
1/4 cup milk
1 egg
salt & pepper
less than 1 tsp sugar
Saltine crackers
1/2 stick of butter
Instructions
Lightly spray cooking oil in a square baking pan. Drain the regular corn, then the mix all 3 cans together in the pan.
Mix together the milk & egg. Season mixture with salt, pepper and sugar. Mix with the corn.
Crush the saltines with your hands over the corn, and then mix into the corn. Use enough saltines so that the mixture isn't too dry nor too weepy.
Cut the butter into pats and place on top of the corn.
Cover & bake at 350 for 35 minutes. Remove the cover, then let it brown up.
Remove from the oven and let it set up for awhile before eating.
