Cranberry Salsa
User Submitted RecipeCranberry Salsa
“
This dish pairs nicely with white meats (turkey, chicken and pork) - but is also great for cheeses."
Ingredients
1 bag fresh cranberries, rinsed
1 orange (rind removed)
1 apple
1 can of crushed pineapple
sweetener (optional)
walnuts (optional)
Instructions
Place cranberries, orange and apple in a food processor and blend slighlty (I usually like the pieces to be about 1/4-1/2 inch)
Remove salsa from food processor and add pineapple.
If you would like to sweeten the salsa, you can do so with sugar, brown sugar, agave syrup, etc.
If you like nuts, I recommend chopping 1 c. of walnuts and adding it to the salsa an hour before eating.
