St. Louis Salad
“
This salad is served in the best Italian restaurants in St. Louis. It's a great addition to any meal. In St. Louis we sometimes add Provel Cheese. It's a white,creamy,cheese that you can only get in St. Louis."
Ingredients
1 head Romaine lettuce, chopped.
sliced red onion (to taste)
1 jar or can of artichoke heards, drained and rough chopped.
1 small jar pimentoes, drained.
1 can hearts of palm, drained and rough chopped. (optional)
1/4 - 1/2 C. Parmesean Cheese
Rich & Charlies Italian Salad Dressing (or brand of your choice).
Instructions
Clean and chop lettuce, add artichoke hearts, pimento, onion, hearts of palm and set aside.
15 minutes before serving, add the Parmesean Cheese and salad dressing. Flavors will combine to make a great Italian side salad.
