Basil Pesto Bread
Crescent rolls (8oz package)
1/2 cup basil pesto
1/4 cup pine nuts (optional)
Pre-heat oven to 375. Grease a pie pan. Roll out the crescent rolls like pie crust. Spread basil pesto over rolled out crescents (Optional step: Sprinkle pine nuts over pesto and leave a few for the top). Roll up dough like a log and slice into 1 1/2 pieces. Place in greased pie pan like cinnamon rolls. Sprinkle any remaining pine nuts on top (optional). Bake for 15 minutes or until golden brown. Serve with marinara sauce for dipping.
