Tortellini Soup

Italian soup


1 TB butter
3 garlic cloves minced
32 ounces chicken broth
8 ounces frozen or fresh tortellini
1/4 cup grated Parmesan cheese
Salt and pepper to taste
1 4 1/2 ounce can diced or stewed tomatoes
1 frozen small box chopped spinach
1 tsp dried basil or about six leaves fresh


Sauté butter with garlic, then add all but tortellini. Bring to a simmer then add pasta and cook for about fifteen minutes.
