Ingredients
Dried Blackeye Peas
Diced Ham (can purchase already diced in grocery store in lunch meat section.) One medium white onion chopped small. salt and pepper to taste
Instructions
Boil your peas for 45 minutes. Then simmer for several hours until softened. once peas start boiling add onion, salt, and pepper. Once you turn peas down add ham. Then you can either mash or run thru processor until desired texture.
