Baby Loves Carrots

Easy but good, for children and adults too

This is a great alternate to sweet potatoes at Thanksgiving or Christmas meals. It turns carrots into finger licking good carrots.



1 1/2 pounds fresh carrots
1/4 cup brown sugar (Packed)
1/4 Tsp. salt
1/2 Tsp. cinnamon
1/8 Tsp. cloves
1/8 Tsp. nutmeg
2 Tablespoons virgin olive oil


Prepare and cook carrots, cut into lengthwise strips 3/8" wide. In large skillet, cook and stir brown sugar, salt, olive oil, and 1/2 Tsp. cinnamon, 2/8 Tsp. Cloves (optional) 1/8 Tsp. nutmeg. Cook and stir till bubbly. Add carrot strips; cook over low heat, stirring occaisionally, about 5 minutes or until carrots are glazed and heated through.
