Slow Cooker Cranberry Orange Turkey
User Submitted RecipeIngredients
Turkey breast or turkey wings, or both.
Canned cranberry sauce
3 navel oranges
2 potatoes
2 yams
Instructions
Place cranberry sauce in bowl. Cut oranges in half, squeeze juice into bowl and mix to make a paste for topping turkey. Place orange halves upside down in slowcooker along with cut potato and yam to make a bed. Place turkey on top and cover with cranberry/orange paste. Cook for 10 hours, don't cheat on the time as the oranges need to carmalize and become sweet. You can eat the orange peel and pulp when done.
