User Submitted RecipeIngredients
2 lb ground beef
2 large onions, chopped
2 medium zucchini, chopped (fresh from my garden, yay!)
3-4 cloves garlic, finely chopped
28 ounce can crushed tomatoes
15 ounce can tomato sauce
6 ounce can tomato paste
1 tablespoon dried basil leaves1teaspoon dried oregano leaves
1/2 teaspoon salt
1/2 teaspoon pepper
1/2 teaspoon crushed red pepper flakes
1/2 teaspoon garlic
Instructions
Spray 5-quart slow cooker with cooking spray. Set to low.
Saute ground beef, onions and garlic over medium heat about 10 minutes, stirring occasionally, until meat is no longer pink. Spoon sausage mixture into cooker. Stir in remaining ingredients.
Cover; cook on low heat setting for about 8 to 9 hours.
