Steaks in the PortugueseUser Submitted Recipe
4 rump or sirloin steaks
2 large onions, chopped
1 red pepper , julienned
1 green pepper , julienned
2 cans of drained and chopped tomatoes proficient
1 tablespoon meat extract
1 teaspoon sugar
1 tablespoon butter
Salt and pepper to taste
Place oil in a frying pan, butter and saute onions and peppers when the onions are transparent to place the tomatoes, stock and extract, spice with salt, pepper and sugar, cook over low heat. In a skillet over high heat, fry the steaks, as they still are placed in a pan where it previously poured the sauce pan lid and let it reduce. It the potatoes can be served with fried eggs.
