“
This is an easy one skillet meal that has wide appeal across ages and tastes. It is easy for adults to customize their servings to grown up tastes."
Ingredients
2 lbs. ground beef
1/2 cup taco seasoning
1/4 cup ketchup
1 1/2 cups water
1 lb. small pasta shells
1/2 lb. grated sharp cheddar
Hot Sauce
Sour Cream
Chopped Green Onions
Sliced, quartered fresh tomatoes
Instructions
Cook the pasta shells according to packaged directions. Brown and crumble ground beef in deep sided skillet. When no pink in the meat remains, drain off grease. Add the taco seasoning, ketchup and water. Mix well and simmer together while stirring for 5 to 6 minutes. Combine with cooked shells, serve pasta bowls topping each serving with an ounce of shredded cheese sprinkled over top. Additional toppings should be added according to taste by individuals and include hot sauce, sour cream and green onions.
