Hamburger Pie

Easy Fast Comfort Yum


1 lb ground meat (turkey or hamburger)
1 lb frozen corn
1 can cream of mushroom soup
8 servings of instant mashed potatoes
4 oz shredded colby


Get water on for the potatoes and preheat your oven to 350. In a pan large enough to hold the meat and potatoes, start frying the ground meat; get it a little caramelized (adds more flavor and you don't need salt). Add the frozen corn; add the cream of mushroom soup. While waiting for the meat ingredients to be fully heated, make your potatoes (add the butter, milk, salt and potato flakes to your boiling water). Spoon potatoes over the meat mixture. Sprinkle the grated cheese over the top. Bake about 15 minutes to melt/lightly brown the cheese. Voila! A salad is a great accompaniment. Serves 4-6 (ya know this depends on how much salad you eat and how big your eaters are...)
This should only take about 30 minutes, and you can make your salad while the dish is in the oven for 15 minutes.
